Ajax Push on BlackBerry Bold

It's not just for emulators anymore. We've obtained a real BlackBerry Bold (specifically a BlackBerry 9000) and have had great success with it. See below for a demo of a custom build of the mobileChat page in the ICEfaces auctionMonitor :

There are now a lot of interesting things to look into; for instance, can offline conditions be detected, how should the ICEfaces components be simplified for smaller screens, and can the JavaScript be pre-compiled in some fashion that is most edible to the BlackBerry?
